I am currently a Staff Software Engineer at Google. Where I have worked for the past 4+ years starting in Pittsburgh, PA then Sunnyvale, CA now Austin, TX. Before this I was working for Amazon for 2 years.
University
I was a masters student of Computer Science at the University of Minnesota Duluth and worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. My research focus was adaptive filesystem compression.
History about me
I have been interested in electronics since I was young. I enjoyed playing around with circuits to make radio receivers and transmitters. I started learning C++ when I was in my early teens. When I was 14 I started designing digital circuits in a digital logic simulator. I designed an ALU, CPU, and my own instruction set. Around this same time I learned python which I soon fell in love with. I have been exploring the world of software ever since.
