The Present and Near Past
I am currently a Software Engineer working for Google on a team located in Sunnyvale, CA but working from home in Pittsburgh, PA till Covid-19 settles down. Before this I was working for Amazon in Pittsburgh as well.
University
I was a masters student of Computer Science at the University of Minnesota Duluth and worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. My research focus was adaptive filesystem compression.
History about me
I have been interested in electronics since I was young. I enjoyed playing around with circuits to make radio receivers and transmitters. I started learning C++ when I was in my early teens. When I was 14 I started designing digital circuits in a digital logic simulator. I designed an ALU, CPU, and my own instruction set. Around this same time I learned python which I soon fell in love with. I have been exploring the world of software ever since.
